Scitech Space Dome Visit

Last term Scitech brought its inflatable Space Dome to school. The year threes fives and ESC classes were lucky enough to visit the space dome and have a chance to see stars, planets and other objects in our night sky.

All the classes behaved wonderfully and amazed the Scitech staff with their knowledge about space and our solar system.

We were very lucky to have it on this day as the Scitech staff told us all about a special event happening in our sky that night. Venus and Jupiter were to align in their orbits around the sun so that to us they would appear like one huge bright star. I hope lots of kids went out that night to see venupiter, I know I did :).

  1. Can we have the Space Dome next year because we did not see it in this school?

  2. I liked in the Space Dome when the lady found the scorpion. It was cool when we saw different times of the day.
