Science Class Pets

The hermit crabs are very interesting animals to watch. They are crustaceans and they like to climb and dig in the sand.

The Garden Snails

The year ones collected some snails last term and they have proved very interesting to observe. They have even laid eggs and hatched baby snails.

Last term we got some lovely baby apple snails from Miss McBride as hers have been breeding profusely. These snails have been very active, moving around the tank cleaning everything.

Every now and then the spiny leaf stick insects like to come to school. They don’t move around very much but they are very interesting to look at.
