This week the year ones have been learning all about ants. We carefully observed some ants in the playground and under a digital microscope in class. We studied what they looked like and talked about the names of their body parts.

Then we read a book about ants to find out lots of information about what they eat and where they live, etc. Lastly, we wrote some sentences about ants and drew a diagram labelling some of their body parts.
